WHY PGH PIZZA TRUCK?

Two paths came together through a long and winding road to get here.  Jason has worked in the Pizza industry since 1988 when he started working for Zeiderelli's Pizza in Marysville, PA.  His best friend owns the Zeiderelli's name and there are now 6 shops in eastern PA bearing the name.

Tommy had a catering business for over 14 years, a pizza shop, and a fundraising company.  It started way before that for him, as he grew up in a butcher shop around his father and uncle.

Fast forward to 2013 over coffee at the local diner.  Tommy and Jason developed a working business relationship to experiment with food at a local winery.  Flatbread pizzas were added to the menu as well as exotic meats like elk and Texas Longhorn to supplement the Certified Black Angus burgers that folks craved.

The creation of Food for You, LLC allowed these two foodies to pursue the dream of a brick and mortar restaurant.  The PGH Pizza Truck is the next step toward that goal.  They plan on offering delicious pizza and sandwiches for lunch and then shift gears to homemade specialty items for the dinner crowd.

Tommy is amazed at how the values and traditions of yesteryear are coming to the forefront again.  Items that are "all natural" or "farm fresh" are what they USED to be ALL the time.  This old-fashioned quality is combined with a modern twist to bring you the best tasting, best quality, natural food for a great price.

Tommy has found his niche at the Cycle Diner located next to Gatto Harley Davidson in Tarentum, PA.  Click on the Link to be directed to fresh homestyle cooking!

Jason, his wife and boys have been operating the truck across the area since 2016.

We look forward to bringing PGH Pizza Truck to YOUR Neighborhood. Check our Facebook Page @PGHpizzatruck for more info.
